Fire at Islambag building under control

A fire broke out at a building in the capital’s Islambag area on Saturday afternoon. 

According to Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) headquarters, the fire started at around 3:17 pm.

Being informed, eight firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control at around 4:27pm.

Anowarul Islam Dolon, media cell officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) headquarters, confirmed the matter.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
