Bangladesh-India border conference begins Monday

The Bangladesh-India border conference is scheduled to start in New Delhi on Monday (February 17), six months after the interim government came to power.

The 55th Director General-level conference of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Indian Border Security Force (BSF) will conclude on February 20.

BGB headquarters issued a notification in this regard on Sunday (February 16).

A 14-member Bangladeshi delegate will attend the meeting. On the other hand, a 13-member Indian team will join the conference.

This would be the first top-level meeting between the two sides after the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government in August last year.
