CA for building joint economy with India, Nepal, Bhutan

Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has emphasized on the importance of building a joint economy among the four countries - Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Bhutan.

The adviser said this while addressing Bangladesh Administration Service Association Conference 2025 at Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center on Sunday (February 16).

These four countries would receive benefits if they could build a joint economy due to their geographical location. The process has already begun, he said.

He also said, “We are very fortunate in terms of nature. In addition, we have a large population, which is a great asset for the country.”

Financial Adviser Salehuddin Ahmed, Legal Adviser Dr. Asif Nazrul, Information Adviser Nahid Islam, Cabinet Secretary Sheikh Abdur Rashid and Administrative Service Association President Md. Nazrul Islam spoke at the event.
