Ex-State Minister Dr Enam remanded again

A Dhaka court has placed former State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Dr Md Enamur Rahman on a four-day remand in connection with the death of Riday in the city's Savar area during the
anti-discrimination student movement.
Dhaka Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate KM Mohiuddin passed the order on Tuesday.
The court rejecting Dr Enam's bail petition as police produced the accused before the court and pleaded to place him on a seven-day remand.
Riday Ahmed was gunned down while taking part in a programme ‘Long March to Dhaka’ at Savar Thana road in the afternoon on August 5.
He was rushed to Enam Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on August 8.
