Citizens now will be able easily to receive any land service such as e-mutation, land development tax payment, receipt or ledger and map by completing the registration only once on the land.gov.bd web portal with their respective mobile number and national identity card numbers.
The Land Ministry has launched an improved and integrated version of the online system.
A public notice was issued in this regard on Tuesday.
After the launch of the new software, the general public was facing difficulties in getting some services at the initial stage due to some technical errors and interoperability complications, it said.
As soon as the issues came to the attention of the land ministry, initiatives were taken to resolve them quickly.
Currently, individuals and organisations can easily submit land development tax online, print the application and apply for mutation online, if the application is approved, the ledger can be printed online by submitting the DCR fee.
In addition, the ledger and map can be obtained online by submitting the fee for the issuance of the paper or ledger and map.
In some cases, some technical problems are being resolved as soon as the authorities come to the notice to get these land services as the system is new.
A hotline 16122 has been launched in the Ministry of Land to remove the difficulties of the citizens.
Citizens are requested to inform this hotline if they face any problems including the server in getting land services. This hotline will be open 24 hours a day, every day of the week.
