Chief Adviser to go to China on March 26

Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus is expected to depart for China in the afternoon of March 26.

The Chief Adviser is likely to hold bilateral talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing on March 28.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mohammad Rafiqul Alam disclosed this at the weekly briefing.

On March 27, the Chief Adviser will attend and deliver a speech at the opening plenary of the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference. 

Later that afternoon, Chief Adviser Yunus is expected to meet with the Executive Vice President of China’s State Council.

The following day, Yunus will meet President Xi Jinping for bilateral talks in Beijing. 

On March 29, he is scheduled to attend an event at Peking University in the morning before returning to Bangladesh that night.
