6 including ARSA chief arrested, put on 10 days remand 

Six people including chief of Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) Ataullah Abu Ammar alias as Jununi have been put on 10 days remand.

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members arrested them from Siddhirganj upazila of Narayanganj.

The other arrestees are Moshtak Ahmed, 66,  a man of Arakan province, Moniruzzaman, 24, at Ishwarganj in Mymensingh, Salimullah, 27, a man of Arakan province, his wife Asmaul Hosna, 23, and Hasan, 15, a man of Arakan province.

Narayanganj Senior Judicial Magistrate Court’s Judge Moinuddin Qadir granted them 5 days remand each for questioning in two cases after the hearing on Tuesday.

Narayanganj Court Police Inspector Qaium Khan confirmed the matter.

They recovered Tk 21.39 lakh in cash from the arrestees.
