Senior journalist Ali Habib passes away

Renowned journalist and Assistant Editor of Kaler Kantho Ali Habib has passed away. 

He breathed his last on Tuesday evening at the Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.

Ali Habib fell ill while on duty at his office in the afternoon. His colleagues rushed him to the hospital, where doctors placed him on life support. Later, at around 7:45 pm, he passed away at the age of 61.

After the namaz-e-janaza at the East West Media Group compound (Kaler Kantho office premises), his body will be taken to his hometown in Jhenaidah for burial.
