Former minister Nasrul Hamid’s 70 bank accounts seized

A court in Dhaka ordered to freeze 70 bank accounts and attach three apartments, three cars of former state minister for Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid over graft allegations.
Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order on Sunday (April 20).
One of the apartments is situated at Priyoprangon in Dhaka’s Poribagh, while the three others are in Banani’s PP Tower. These structures are valued at Tk 8.5 million.
ACC Assistant Director Minhaz Bin Islam appealed to the court to order the seizures.
