Deadline for political party registration extended by 2 months

The Election Commission (EC) has extended the deadline for political parties' registration applications by two months till 22 June.

EC secretary Akhtar Ahmed revealed the information on Sunday (April 20).

He said, "The commission has decided to accept applications from parties until June 22."

Earlier today, the newly floated National Citizen Party (NCP) held a two-hour meeting with Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin.
