Interim govt decides to ban Awami League politics in country 

Advisory Council of the interim government has decided to ban the politics of the Awami League in the country.

The Advisory Council took the decision at an emergency meeting held at the State Guest House, Jamuna on Saturday (May 10) evening.

After the meeting, Law Adviser Asif Nazrul said the government will publish a circular in this regard. 

Protests held in various parts of the country, including the capital, demanding a ban on Awami League politics. 

In the wake of the situation, the Advisory Council of the interim government held the emergency meeting.
