Appeal to keep Nusrat Faria in jail

Police has filed an appeal to keep actor Nusrat Faria in jail in an attempted murder case.

Bhatara Thana Sub Inspector Billal Bhuiyan filed a petition in this regard on Monday.

The hearing will be held at Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate.

Meanwhile, Nusrat was produced before a court at around 9am. He was kept at the jail of CMM court.

Actor Nusrat Faria was detained from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka. 

Immigration police of the airport detained her on Sunday (May 18). 

According to a source associated with Immigration police, Nusrat Faria was detained while she was trying to leave Dhaka for Thailand. 

Nusrat Faria was shown arrested in an attempted murder case related to July uprising. The case was filed with Bhatara Police Station in 2024 as she acted as money contributor of Awami League at that time.
