Chief Adviser to visit UK on June 9

Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus is set to visit the UK on June 9-13 and will likely hold meetings with King Charles and Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

The Office of the Chief Advisor and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the matter.

Repatriation of laundered money, trade and investment, development partnership, Rohingya crisis and regional cooperation in South Asia will be on the agenda during the trip.

Recently, the Chief Advisor also ordered the formation of a special fund to recover those money and use it for charitable purposes.

This will be a priority visit from a political, economic, and global perspective, following the Chief Advisor's visit to China.
