Travel ban imposed on ex-DGFI DG Mamun, 3 others

A court in Dhaka has imposed a travel ban on former director general (DG) of Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI) Lt Gen (Retd) Sheikh Mamun Khaled, his wife Nigar Sultana Khaled and two others over graft allegations.
Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the orders following the two separate petitions of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Thursday (May 22).
ACC public relations officer Aktarul Islam confirmed the matter.
The two others are –Khandaker Abul Qayyum, a relative of former Director General of the National Security Intelligence Service (NSI) Major General TM Jobayer, and Abu Sayeed Md. Mustaq, a member of the National Board of Revenue (NBR).
