Deep convection: Signal 3 for maritime ports

A deep convection is taking place over the North Bay and adjoining areas. 

Squally weather may affect the maritime ports, North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh.

According to a special weather bulletin of Bangladesh Meteorological Department, the maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to hoist local cautionary signal number three.

All fishing boats and trawlers over the North Bay have been advised to come close to coast and proceed till further notice.
