Don`t listen to rumors, don`t be confused: Army

Mentioning that a vested quarter has recently circulated a fake press release using the official logo of the Bangladesh Armed Forces, the Bangladesh Army has called upon the public to be awareness in this regard.

The Bangladesh Army made the call in a post published on its verified Facebook page on Friday (May 23) afternoon.

The press release has urged the public to refrain from believing or spreading rumours.

The false information aims to create confusion among the general public and drive a wedge between the armed forces and the people, it added.

The army wrote in its post: “Do not believe rumours. Do not be misled. Verify facts. Stay alert.”
