Plot underway to create another 1/11: Nahid 

Convener of National Citizens Party (NCP) Nahid Islam has alleged that a plot is underway to create another infamous 1/11 scenario in Bangladesh.

Nahid Islam made the comment in a post on his verified Facebook on Friday.

He also expressed concern over what he described as foreign-backed plans to destabilize the country and undermine its sovereignty.

In his post, Nahid wrote, “Our aim is to free Bangladesh's politics from all forms of hegemony and ensure it is run independently and sovereignly. Time and again, efforts have been made to divide the nation, weaken national unity, and keep Bangladesh fragile. Since the banning of Awami League's political activities, there have been renewed efforts, particularly from Delhi, to create instability and sow division in the country. These moves are part of a broader scheme to obstruct democratic transformation and orchestrate another 1/11-style arrangement.”

The NCP leader emphasized the need for patriotic, pro-Bangladesh, and devout students and citizens to unite against fascism and imperialism. 

He called on military officers and soldiers loyal to Bangladesh to remain vigilant in defense of the nation's sovereignty.
