Eid-ul-Azha: Govt fixes rawhide prices

The government has fixed the prices of salt-treated rawhides at Tk60-65 per square feet in Dhaka and Tk55-60 per square feet outside the capital for the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha.

Commerce Adviser Sk Bashir Uddin revealed the information in a press conference on Sunday noon (May 25).

This year, the price of goat hides has been set at Tk22-27 per sq ft across the country, while that of she-goat hides was fixed at Tk20-22 per sq ft.

Besides, the government set the minimum prices of salt-treated rawhides from small-sized cattle at Tk1,350 in Dhaka and Tk1,150 outside the capital.
