No compromise on national security: Army headquarters

Lieutenant Colonel Md Shafiqul Islam said that the Bangladesh Army will not be involved in any activity that compromises national security.

The army officer said this while addressing reporters on the corridor issue at the army headquarters on Monday (May 26).

Lt. Col. Md Shafiqul Islam said the army is uncompromising on the issues of the corridor, the country's security and sovereignty. Since August 5, the army has been working in coordination with everyone in the interest of the country.

If anyone wants to create a mob creating chaos, the army will take strict action against them, he added.
