Case filed in connection with murder of BNP leader in capital’s Badda

Unidentified miscreants shot Kamrul Hasan Sadhan, a leader of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), to death in a film style in the Middle Badda in Dhaka on Sunday (May 25) night. The deceased’s wife Dilruba Akhter filed a case with the Badda Thana.
Officer-in-Charge of Badda Thana Mohammad Saiful Islam said the deceased’s wife Dilruba Akhter filed a case with the Badda Thana. The footage of the incident is being investigated.
Kamrul Hasan Sadhan, a joint convener of BNP’s Gulshan Thana unit.
The incident took place around 10:06 PM on road no 4 in Gudaraghat area in the capital.
The OC said two unidentified assailants attacked Sadhan while he was sitting with some locals. The assailants, at one point, opened fire on him, leaving him seriously injured on the spot.
Later, locals rescued him from the spot and took him to Heart Foundation Hospital where on duty doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
