Thousands gather at Nayapaltan for youth rally

Thousands of leaders and activists of three youth affiliates of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) gathered in Dhaka's Nayapaltan area on Wednesday for a rally demanding the establishment of youth rights.

The rally was scheduled to begin this noon (May 28). However, leaders and activists gathered there before the scheduled time.

The massive rally was organized by the Nationalist Chhatra Dal, Jubo Dal and Swechchhasebak Dal where BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman is scheduled to address the rally as the chief guest via video conference.

Organizers expect that 15 lakh youths from Dhaka, Sylhet, Faridpur and Mymensingh will join the rally.
