Newspaper offices to remain closed for 5 days on Eid 

The Newspaper Owners’ Association of Bangladesh (NOAB) has announced that newspaper offices will remain closed for five days from 5 to 9 June on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

As a result, no newspapers will be published from 6 to 10 June 

A statement signed by NOAB President AK Azad was issued in this regard on Wednesday (May 28).

Meanwhile, the Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) has thanked the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the NOAB for declaring a five-day holiday for newspapers on Eid-ul-Azha. Earlier, the media workers demanded a five-day holiday on Eid.
