New guidelines on visitor entry to Secretariat

The government has imposed a ban on visitor entry to the Bangladesh Secretariat on two days every week.

As per the instruction, visitors cannot enter the Secretariat on Mondays and Thursdays of each week from now on.

The Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notification to this effect on Wednesday (May 28).

“Considering the meeting of the Advisory Council and overall matters, entry of all types of visitors into the Bangladesh Secretariat will remain suspended every Monday and Thursday of each week until further notice,” according to the notification.
