Three arrested over Moghbazar mugging

Police arrested three individuals in connection with a recent mugging in Moghbazar in the capital on Thursday (May 29).

The arrestees are Md Sohel, Jibon alias Ridoy, and Shamim.

Mohammad Nasirul Islam, DMP Joint Commissioner said that the stolen bags, the machete and the motorcycle used in the robbery have been seized from them.

Earlier on May 18, the mugging took place on Greenway Lane in Moghbazar when three assailants on a motorbike intercepted him, a restaurant employee from Motijheel.

Later, the incident sparked public outrage.
