BB instructs to keep enough money in ATM booths during Eid

Bangladesh Bank directed all scheduled banks in the country to keep sufficient money in their ATM booths to make financial transactions smoothly during the Eid-ul-Azha holiday.

The central bank also issued several instructions for seamless transactions not only at ATM booths but also through Point of Sale (POS), e-payment gateways, and Mobile Financial Services (MFS).

The Payment Systems Department of Bangladesh Bank sent instructions in this regard on Thursday (May 29).

Additionally, the central bank has instructed banks and financial institutions to ensure round-the-clock service at ATM booths, quickly resolve any technical errors in the booths, and maintain security at the booths.
