Travel ban issued against Munni Saha, family members

A Dhaka court has issued a travel ban against journalist Munni Saha, her husband Md Kabir Hossain, her mother Appel Rani Saha, and her brothers Topon Kumar Saha and Pronob Kumar Saha in connection with graft allegations.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order on Tuesday (June 3).

ACC Deputy Director Yeasir Arafat filed the petition seeking the travel ban.

According to the petition, the ACC is probing the allegations, and the accused may try to flee the country to evade justice at this stage. So, a travel ban should be imposed on them immediately.
