One dies from Covid-19

Recently, a spike in Covid-19 cases has been noticed, renewing concerns over the viral disease.

Bangladesh reported one more Covid-19-linked death and three fresh cases in the 24 hours till Thursday morning.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said this through a press release on Thursday (June 5). 

With the new numbers, the country's total fatalities rose to 29,500 and caseload to 2,051,739, the press release said.

The daily case test positivity rate stood at 14.29% as 21 samples were tested, said the DGHS.
