Stern actions against charging extra fare as fuel price cut

Road Transport and Bridges Adviser Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan has said that stern actions will be taken against charging extra fare as fuel price has been cut.

The adviser said this while talking to newsmen after visiting the Sayedabad bus terminal in Dhaka on Thursday.

Fouzul, also the railways adviser, said necessary steps have been taken to ensure a hassle-free Eid journey for the people, while actions are being taken wherever irregularities are found. “We are also addressing traffic congestion with sincerity.”

Meanwhile, thousands of travellers have started leaving the capital by different modes of transport to reach their destinations to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha with their near and dear ones.
