Train hits several vehicles on Kalurghat bridge, 3 dead

A Dhaka-bound train Parjotk Express, from Cox's Bazar hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw and several motorcycles.
Three people, including a child, were killed and six were injured in the incident.
The injured have been admitted to Chattogram Medical College and a private hospital.
The incident took place on the Kalurghat railway bridge in Chattogram around 10:30 pm on Thursday (June 5).
Chattogram Railway Police Station OC Shahidul Islam confirmed the accident.
Several railway officials and eyewitnesses said the accident occurred when the train driver ignored the signal and went onto the bridge at a high speed. Two of the deceased are CNG auto-rickshaw driver Tushar, 32, and passenger Mehreema Nur Ayesha, 2.
The name the other deceased could not be known.
