Over 100 people have sought medical treatment on Eid day after sustaining injuries either while cutting meat for sacrifice or by being kicked by cows.
Most of them were not professional slaughters and came from different places of the capital Dhaka and surrounding areas.
ASI Masud Mia, in-charge of the police outpost at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), confirmed the matter.
Eid-ul-Azha was celebrated across Bangladesh on Saturday, when Muslims sacrificed animals on this day in the hope of pleasing Allah according to their means.
