Metro rail resumes service
News Desk || risingbd.com
After one-day break for the holy Eid-ul-Azha, metro rail service resumed on Sunday (June 8).
Starting from 8:00 am, trains are running every 30 minutes (according to the headway schedule).
From tomorrow, Monday, the metro rail will operate following the public holiday timetable.
However, the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) has imposed certain restrictions.
The transport of sacrificial animal hides as well as raw or cooked meat have strictly been prohibited on the metro rail. All passengers will be thoroughly checked at every station gate.
