Chief Adviser reaches London

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus reached London on Tuesday (June 10) on a four-day official visit to the United Kingdom (UK) aiming to enhance bilateral relations.
"A flight of Emirates Airlines carrying the Chief Adviser and his entourage landed at Heathrow International Airport at about 7.05 am (London time)," Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said.
Prof Yunus will meet King Charles III at Buckingham Palace. He has been nominated by King Charles III for the 'King Charles III Harmony Award 2025', honouring his lifelong work to promote peace, sustainability, and harmony between people and the environment.
According to the Chief Advisor's office, during the visit, the issue of UK support for Bangladesh's democratic transition will be given particular importance. In addition, Bangladesh will prioritize the issue of bringing back laundered money.
The Chief Adviser is scheduled to return home on June 14.
