`The best election in country`s history to be held after 17-year`

Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus has said that the 13th National election with be the most beautiful election in the history of Bangladesh.

The adviser said this while addressing a policy dialogue hosted by the prestigious Chatham House in London on Wednesday (June 11).

Dr. Yunus said, “For the first time in 17 years, we are preparing for a genuine election—one that will stand out as the most beautiful in our history.”

Stating that a reform commission has been formed to create a new Bangladesh, Dr. Yunus said, "We have formed a commission for each institution. We are looking at their recommendations. Our job is to create consensus among all parties."

He said, "We are waiting for July. This charter will be presented to the nation as the July charter."

Earlier on Friday (June 6), in his address to the nation, Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus announced the roadmap for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
