5 more die of Covid in 24hrs

Bangladesh reported five more deaths from Covid-19 in the past 24 hours till 8am Sunday (June 22).

Besides, 36 more people tested positive for the virus during the same period.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), in the last 24 hours, 621 samples were tested. The detection rate is 5.80 percent. Earlier, on Saturday (June 21), four people were diagnosed with coronavirus. Two of them died due to the Covid-19 infection.

16 people have died from COVID-19 this year. In addition, 433 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 during the same period.
