DMP warns of stern action against mob violence

Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sheikh Md Sajjat Ali said any mob action won't be tolerated and action will be taken if the police are found careless in controlling it.

The DMP Commissioner said this while replying a question of reporters at DMP headquarters on Tuesday (June 24).

He said any kind of mob lynching will not be tolerated. If any negligence from the police is proven in the incident of mob lynching, action will be taken against those involved.

Meanwhile, he also announced strict action against extortionists.
