5 members committee formed over NBR reform issue

The government has formed a panel involving five advisers to resolve the stalemate at the National Board of Revenue (NBR) arising out of the work abstention by revenue officials.
Finance adviser Salehuddin Ahmed revealed the information while addressing reporters at his secretariate office on Sunday (June 29).
However, the financial advisor did not provide details about names in the committee members.
Earlier the Finance Advisor joined a meeting with top business leaders at the Finance Ministry meeting room at the Secretariat. The meeting ended around 7 pm.
Mahbubur Rahman, President of the International Chamber of Commerce Bangladesh (ICCB), AK Azad, Vice President of ICCB and Former President of FBCCI, Tapan Chowdhury, former adviser to the caretaker government and managing director of Square Pharmaceuticals, Former FBCCI President Mir Nasir Hossain, and others attended the meeting.
