Ex-assistant commissioner Tabassum Urmi dismissed

Taposi Tabassum Urmi, a former executive magistrate in Lalmonirhat, has been dismissed from government service for a Facebook post criticizing the interim government's chief adviser.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday (July 2).
According to the notification, Assistant Secretary Tapasi Tabassum Urmi, who had been temporarily suspended and assigned Officer on Special Duty (OSD), was found guilty of “misconduct” under Rule 3(b) of the Government Servants (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 2018.
This former Assistant Commissioner, who was temporarily suspended, is currently attached to the Lalmonirhat Deputy Commissioner's office as an Officer on Special Charge (Assistant Secretary). She is now permanently suspended from her job after this notification.
