KNA commander among 2 killed in army operation in Bandarban

Two members of the Kuki Chin National Army (KNA), including a commander, were killed in an army operation in the remote hills of Ruma Upazila in Bandarban.

This information was disclosed in a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday (July 3) morning.

According to the press release, during the operation, the army recovered 3 submachine guns (SMGs), 1 rifle, along with other weapons and ammunition.

The operation was still ongoing, it added.
