All edn institutions instructed to observe `Mass Uprising Day`, `Shaheed Day`

The government has instructed all private and public schools and colleges across the country to observe August 5 as the ‘July Mass Uprising Day’ and July 16 as ‘Shaheed Day’ to commemorate the contribution of the July heroes and nurture the spirit against fascism.

Secondary and Higher Secondary Division issued an order in this connection on Thursday.

The order mentioned that the government has listed August 5 as the ‘Ka’ category days while July 16 has been classified as ‘Kha’ category day by the Cabinet Division.
