Gas outage to hit some areas of Dhaka, Narayanganj today

Gas supply will remain suspended in several areas of Dhaka and Narayanganj for 11 hours from 8:00am to 7:00pm on Monday (July 7) due to gas pipeline replacement work under the DND canal excavation project.
Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited issued a public notice in this regard on Sunday (July 6).
The areas where gas supply will remain off are Tengra, Bahir Tengra, Hajinagar, Amtola, Borovanga, Kodaldoa, Sanarpar, Nimaikashari, Nama Shympur, Zia Soroni, Japani bazar, Titas gas road, Chhapra Mosque, Rupsi Bangla Hospital, Shonir Akhra, areas adjacent to RS tower, Gobindapur, Matuail, Mridhabari, Kajla, Bhanga bridge, Demra, staff quarter, Amulia, Paiti, Jahir steel, Shahriar steel, Dharmik para and council area, according to the notice.
All kinds of gas supply to household and commercial consumers will remain halted during the specified time, it said.
Consumers in adjoining areas may experience low pressure in gas supply, Titas said.
Titas has expressed regret for the inconvenience.
