Tahsina Begum made new Shariatpur DC

The government has appointed Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Commerce Tahsina Begum, a as the new Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Shariatpur.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued an official notification in this regard on Monday (July 7).

She is a member of the 25th BCS batch and has significant experience for her new role.

Tahsina Begum has replaced Mohammad Ashraf Uddin, who became an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) on June 21 after a video surfaced showing him in a compromising situation with a woman.

In response, the government has formed a three-member investigation committee to look into the matter.
