Observers of last 3 elections won’t be allowed this time: CEC

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) A M M Nasir Uddin has firmly said the observers who were biased in certifying the last three national elections will not be allowed to monitor future polls.

The CEC said this while addressing reporters after a meeting Canadian High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Ajit Singh at Agargaon Election Bhaban on Tuesday (July 8).

He also said that observer policies have already been developed.

There has been no discussion with the Canadian ambassador regarding the election date. The date will be announced before the election, he said.
