Bangladesh-US tariff talks begin

The first day of the second round of the ongoing three-day tariff talks between Bangladesh and the United States has ended.
The talks took place in Washington, DC on Thursday (July 10).
A press release from the Chief Advisor's Press Wing confirmed the update.
Golam Mortoza, press minister at the Bangladesh Embassy in Washington, reported early Thursday Bangladesh time that the opening day of discussions wrapped up with broad understanding on many issues.
National Security Adviser Dr Khalilur Rahman and Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb joined virtually from Dhaka.
The next session of talks will be held Thursday at 9 PM Bangladesh time.
