2 more die of dengue, 337 admitted to hospitals

Two more deaths were reported from dengue in 24 hours till Thursday morning (July 10), raising the number of fatalities from the disease in Bangladesh to 54 this year.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), during the period, 337 more patients were hospitalised with the mosquito-borne disease.

The total infected-case reached 13,931 this year.

Last year, dengue claimed the lives of 575 people.
