Home Affairs Adviser Lieutenant General (retd) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has said that all those involved in the brutal murder of Sohag (39), a scrap metal dealer, in front of Mitford Hospital in the capital have been arrested.
He made these remarks to reporters after visiting the Range Reserve Force and Dhaka District Police Lines at Mill Barracks in Old Dhaka on Saturday (July 12).
The Home Affairs Adviser said, “Police are taking instant action when such incidents are happening across the country. This incident is very sad. Such an incident can never be expected in a civilised country. Five people responsible for this incident have already been arrested.
He said one person was arrested last night as well. Earlier, RAB has caught two people with weapons. Two people have also been caught by the Metropolitan Police. Besides, the DB team is working.
