July Uprising Memorial Museum construction cost Tk111cr

The Advisory Council Committee on Economic Affairs has approved two projects for the construction and renovation of the 'July Uprising Memorial Museum' in Dhaka.

The total cost of the two projects is estimated at 111.91 crore 81 thousand taka.

The approval was given at a committee meeting held at the Cabinet Division conference room at the Secretariat on Tuesday (July 15). Financial Advisor Salehuddin Ahmed presided over the meeting.

Senior officials of the concerned ministries attended the meeting.

The Bangladesh National Museum under the initiative of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs will work with the aim of presenting various memorials of the student-public uprising that took place in July-August 2024 and various incidents of oppression by the previous government.
