Independent power plant deals to be reviewed: Finance Adviser

Finance Adviser Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed has said that independent power plant agreements during the Awami League government will be reviewed.

“There were many inconsistencies in the agreements made during the previous government regarding the independent power plants, and it has been decided to review them”, he said. 

He told reporters after a meeting of the Advisory Council Committee on Government Procurement and a meeting of the Advisory Council Committee on Economic Affairs at the Secretariat on Tuesday (July 15). 

The finance adviser presided over both the meetings.  After the meetings, he told reporters about the decisions.

“A proposal has been approved regarding the July Memorial Museum, and it will be inaugurated on August 5”, he said.
