Malaysia launches multiple-entry visa facilities for Bangladeshis

The Malaysian government has announced the implementation of multiple-entry visas for Bangladeshi workers.
Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Adviser Professor Dr Asif Nazrul revealed the information on Tuesday (July 15).
During a visit to Malaysia last May, a delegation led by Adviser Asif Nazrul and the Principal Adviser's Special Envoy for International Affairs Lutfey Siddiqi met with the country's Home Minister. After detailed discussions on visa issues for Bangladeshi workers at the meeting, the Malaysian government issued the new circular on this issue on July 10.
Asif Nazrul said, Malaysia's Home Minister has assured a quick resolution to the problem at the meeting. Since then, officials from the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and the Bangladesh Embassy in Malaysia have been in constant contact. Finally, on July 10, the multiple-entry visa facility was introduced for expatriate Bangladeshi workers.
