EC removes boat symbol from its website

The Election Commission (EC) has removed the 'boat' symbol of the Awami League from its website.
EC secretary Akhtar Ahmed confirmed the matter on Wednesday (July 16).
He said that the symbol has been removed according to the commission’s instructions.
The EC recently suspended the party's registration following a court order. The National Citizens Party (NCP) also protested against keeping the Awami League’s symbol on the list of election symbols.
