Jamaat announces countrywide demonstrations on Thursday

Jamaat-e-Islami will stage demonstrations across the country in protest against the Awami League’s attacks on NCP leaders in Gopalganj.

The party’s Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar announced the demonstrations in a statement on Wednesday evening.

“I call on all party activists and the countrymen to forge a united front against fascism and to demand justice against the attackers,” Parwar said in the statement.
